TaskPay rules
Short and plain. By posting or applying to a task you accept these rules. Last updated 28 Oct 2026.
Beta. TaskPay is new software. The escrow is a wallet run by TaskPay, not a trustless smart contract, and payouts are sent by hand by the operator. Start with small amounts. Do not put in money you cannot afford to wait for.
1. How the money moves
- The client funds the task into the TaskPay escrow wallet before it is published. Only a payment that is confirmed on the Solana network counts.
- The money stays in escrow while the work is done and reviewed. It is never sent to the freelancer before the client approves or a moderator decides.
- After approval the payout to the freelancer is queued and sent by the operator, then confirmed on-chain. The task shows a Solscan receipt. The client's final files unlock after that confirmation.
- Payouts are sent by hand in this beta, usually within about 30 minutes and in any case within 24 hours.
1b. Missions from TaskPay
- Missions are small jobs posted by TaskPay itself (about $1 to $10), paid by TaskPay. New missions are added about every 2 hours. The first creator to apply takes a mission and has 48 hours; if nothing is submitted it goes back to the pool. You can take 2 at a time.
- The operator checks the result against the mission text. If it meets the requirements, the payout is sent by hand to the wallet you signed in with, usually within about 30 minutes. Work copied from somewhere else is rejected. The prices are fixed in SOL when the mission is created, using the SOL price at that moment.
2. Fees
- The platform fee (if any) is shown before you fund a task and is taken from the freelancer's payout, never added on top of the budget.
- You also pay the normal Solana network fee for your own transfer.
3. Work, revisions and review
- Each task states the number of included revisions. When the freelancer submits work, the client has 7 days to approve, ask for changes, or open a dispute.
- If the client does nothing for 7 days after a submission, the work is approved automatically and the payout is released. This rule is shown on every task.
- A client can cancel a task that has no chosen freelancer and get a full refund. After a freelancer is chosen, only a dispute can change the outcome.
4. Disputes
- Either side can open a dispute while work is in progress or in review. The funds stay locked.
- A human moderator reads the task, the chat, every delivery and the payment record, then decides: release the payment, or refund the client. Both sides see the reasoning.
- AI may write a neutral summary for the moderator. AI never decides who gets the money.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are sent from escrow to the wallet that funded the task. Network fees of the original transfer are not refunded.
- If a duplicate payment is detected for one task, the extra amount is refunded by hand.
6. What is not allowed
- Anything illegal, harmful, adult or exploitative; scams; stealing or draining wallets; requests for private keys or seed phrases.
- Asking or offering to pay outside TaskPay, or to move the deal off the platform to avoid escrow.
- Malware, phishing, and misleading previews. Moderators can remove tasks and suspend accounts.
- TaskPay will never ask you for a seed phrase or private key. Never share one.
6b. Automatic checks
- A task goes live as soon as its funding is confirmed. An AI (GLM) then re-reads every published task. Anything illegal, a scam or against these rules is taken down and the payer is refunded in full.
- The AI only ever removes a task and sends the money back to the payer. It never decides who gets paid in a dispute: a human does.
6c. The AI workspace
- The AI workspace is powered by GLM. It writes files from your description, for example the first version of an order or a TaskPay mission. AI output can be wrong: read it, test it and take responsibility for what you attach to a task.
- The workspace runs in an isolated sandbox. It never has access to wallets, keys or other people's data. Do not paste secrets into prompts.
7. Files and privacy
- Final files are stored in a locked area and shown to the client only after payment is confirmed. Previews are visible to both sides. Preview does not stop someone from copying what they can see.
- Your wallet address is your account. Usernames, bios, ratings and confirmed payment history on your public profile are public. Chat and files of a deal are visible only to the two sides and, in a dispute, the moderator.
8. Limits of this beta
- Task budgets are capped while the beta runs. The cap is shown when you create a task.
- Service can be interrupted. TaskPay is provided as is. We do our best, but cannot promise it is free of mistakes.
